GlobalPort uses a proprietary platform to design and generate e-learning products and programs, deriving the content from our partner’s educational resources, including books, journals, meeting studies, guidelines, and other appropriate available content elements.
The primary goal is to facilitate the efficient deployment of any combination of content, with branding, language and localization for distribution internationally.
GlobalPort also works with our partners to develop new ad hoc products specially designed for Global distribution.
Today’s expectations for global learning are high. With the emergence of mobile technology, social networking and content delivery tools, training is no longer confined domestically but goes well beyond linguistic, cultural and geographic boundaries.
People learn better in their native tongue, especially when content is culturally relevant. Localizing e-learning content requires a wide range of activities from translation to software engineering.
GlobalPort has built a multi-tiered team of localization experts including translators, linguists, subject matter experts, production managers, IT experts and project manager.
GlobalPort currently employs 30 staff located in the United States, Italy, Spain, Holland and the United Kingdom. Staff include project managers, editors, medical writers, translators, programmers, web-designers and instructional design experts.
The GlobalPort team consists of individuals with specific and in-depth knowledge of marketing and sales, the development of online educational products, and the medical education, medical industry and medical society landscapes.
